Alexander Wang’s collection for the New York vintage store includes shirts with iconic images of rap, R&B and hip-hop stars such as Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy and Janet Jackson. The Alexander Wang x Procell collection makes its debut at Wang’s Manhattan flagship store on September 6, with prices for the rare shirts ranging from $300 to $2,000.

Procell is the creation of vintage curator Brian Procell. Located in Manhattan’s Bowery neighborhood, the store is known for its collection of 1980s and 1990s clothing and accessories, including many rare concert t-shirts. Wang says he is a longtime fan of Procell, and wanted to create a collection honoring his favorite musicians.

Alexander Wang will present his Spring 2018 collection on Saturday in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. The designer will hand out wristbands for the runway show at his flagship store on Grand Street and will also host two pop-up stores near the venue.

Though primarily known for his streetwear-inspired aesthetic, Wang recently collaborated with Judith Leiber on a Swarovski crystal-incrusted handbag to be debuted at Saturday’s runway show. Designed to look like a stack of $100 bills, the limited-edition minaudière will cost $4,995.
