Balenciaga opened on Tuesday its newly redesigned Madison Avenue in New York City.

The 1,800-square-foot store boasts a new look under Demna Gvasalia that was first introduced in the Balenciaga Beverly Hills store and has taken over the fashion house’s two Paris locations at rue Saint Honoré and Avenue Montaigne.

Balenciaga Madison Avenue's new industrial-inspired look

Much like the Beverly Hills and Paris stores, the Madison Avenue location features an industrial-inspired interior with an aluminum foil-covered ceiling on warehouse conveyor rails, silicone curtains in the changing rooms, aluminum display tables, benches covered in utilitarian synthetic leather and textured concrete and glass materials throughout.

In addition to housing the full women’s, men’s and accessories collections, the store features three statues by American artist Mark Jenkins and a logo-printed carpet that was first seen at the Balenciaga women’s fall 2017 show.

Balenciaga currently operates US retail locations in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, Miami, Dallas and Honolulu, two stores in Las Vegas and three stores in California. Only the Beverly Hills store and the Madison Avenue stores feature Demna’s industrial-inspired interiors.
