Brandon Maxwell rose to fame as the stylist and designer for Lady Gaga. He launched his namesake line in 2015 and last week staged his Spring 2018 show during New York Fashion Week, using top models such as Taylor Hill, Joan Smalls, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss.

In addition to his work for Lady Gaga, Maxwell has dressed the likes of Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Aniston. His work has appeared in magazines such as V, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. In 2016 he won both the Fashion Group International’s Rising Star Award for Womenswear and the CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear.

Maxwell recently made his directorial debut, helming a video for Apple Music using Lady Gaga’s song “A-Yo” from her album Joanne. Maxwell also directed his fall 2017 campaign alongside his creative partner Jessy Price. The campaign included both photography and short films starring models such as Maria Borges and Joan Smalls.

IMG also recently scooped up supermodel Karen Elson. The 38-year-old was previously signed to The Lions Model Management.
