From 24th September to 16th October the French Footwear Federation (Fédération française de la chaussure, FFC) will be present in Shanghai with the "500 years of French passion for footwear" exhibition, a showcase of French footwear expertise, held at the Kerry Centre's Mall.

The FFC exhibited last year in Hong Kong - Ministère des Affaires Etrangères et du Développement International

The exhibition will feature about 150 traditional and contemporary shoe models, developed by some forty French brands. The models will be grouped in seven distinct sections, from technical masterpieces to glamour, from classic footwear to stand-out shoes for major occasions.

In parallel and until 30th October, the FFC will open a pop-up store close to the exhibition, where Chinese consumers will be able to purchase shoes by six French brands.

"The exhibition's objective is to expose the Chinese public to the rich output and diversity of French footwear manufacturers," explained the FFC, stating also that "the exhibition will feature a series of French expertise demonstrations, and entertaining workshops for children organised by French brands."

The FFC is present all year-round in Shanghai with the 'Maison S' showroom, currently showcasing the output of 14 French shoe labels. The FFC represents about 130 French footwear companies and designers, with the mission of supporting their expansion abroad, particularly in China.
