Brand strategy and consultants Graj + Gustavsen will partner with plus-sized supermodel and entrepreneur EMME in expanding the latter’s women’s apparel and accessories line for the full-figured woman.

With 68% of the U.S. women’s population being a size 12 and above and their buying power accounting for $17.2 billion of the $116.2 billion women’s apparel market, G+G and EMME plan to tap into this market and provide fashionable apparel for the full-figured woman.

EMME said, "I am thrilled to have G+G on my side as I re-enter this fashion focused world with my own EMME ® brand to ensure that women with curves are empowered and feel and look beautiful with apparel and accessories that cater to their needs."

The line will range in sizes and styles, focusing on sizes 12 and above in sportswear, activewear, outerwear, footwear, swimwear, intimates, loungewear, sleepwear, and accessories.

Scott Todd, Senior Vice President of Licensing and Strategic Partnerships at G+G, said: "When we met EMME we saw an immediate synergy between her mission to make every woman feel beautiful, no matter her size or age, and an opportunity that we had identified in the marketplace, and that is, to address the styling needs of over 100 million full-figured American women."

EMME added, "I am drawn to G+G’s creative, expertise, market knowledge, product vision, shared passion and ambition, and I know that we will have a successful endeavor."
