The 230-square-metre Amsterdam store will be located at the city center’s Raadhuisstraat 40. The street connects Amsterdam’s busiest shopping area, Kalverstraat, with the popular Jordaan neighborhood. The latter is also home to the 9 Straatjes district, which has recently welcomed a number of new fashion retailers, including Nudie Jeans and Travelteq.

Kauf Dich Glücklich offers apparel collections for men and women as well as furniture, home products, accessories, cosmetics, and stationery. In addition to its own label, the concept store chain also stocks brands such as Adidas, Han Kjobenhavn, KMB, M by M, Nike, Rains, Samsoe & Samsoe, Pop Copenhagen and Wemoto.

Founded by Andrea Dahmen and Christoph Munier, Kauf Dich Glücklich started as a waffle bakery in 2002, offering furniture in addition to the sweet treats. In 2011 the concept store chain launched its own clothing label. The retailer currently operates 20 brick-and-mortar branches across Germany, one store in Vienna and a web shop. The physical locations include fashion only-, fashion and café- and outlet stores.
