To counteract the poor sales, Hibbett launched its official branded site today. It offers a full assortment of apparel, footwear and gear. The e-commerce site will fully integrate with stores so that stores can fulfill orders and customers can return online purchases in store.

Features added to the site include a launch calendar and a product finder. The product pages feature 360-degree views as well as videos of the product in use. An additional number of consumer focused-features are also being debuted, which include being able to shop curated looks and fit guides.

The site focuses on being user-friendly and convenient. It allows customers visibility into whether their local store has product to allow customers to shop their preferred channel. Hibbett is also using the site to kick off its loyalty program.

Jeff Rosenthal, President and Chief Executive Officer, said of the site, "Our main objective is to provide a seamless shopping experience for our customers with a platform that will allow us to significantly expand our assortment over time."

Hibbett was founded in 1945 and has a store network of 1,000 stores across the country. The company employs over 9,000 people in the US. Hibbett offers Nike, Adidas and Under Armour as well as other key athletic brands.
