A change has come to Bershka. Marco Agnolin, who most recently headed up the Inditex-owned brand, has left Inditex and moved over to Diesel at the fashion brands CEO. He will be replaced by Antonio Flórez.

Boutique Bershka - Inditex

Marco Agnolin has served as Bershka's CEO since 2011. The fashion retailer is the second biggest brand in revenue terms for the Spanish group, after heavyweight Zara. For fiscal 2016, the youth apparel retailer, which was founded in 1998, surpassed the 2 billion euros mark in terms of sales.

His replacement, Antonio Flórez has worked for Inditex for some years already, and was previously head of the group in Italy.

The Bershka arm is no stranger to recruitments recently, such as that of Pau Orts, appointed head of digital strategy, with the job of consolidating the retailer's global commercial strategy.

Today, the Bershka brand boasts more than 1,100 stores worldwide, a network only outnumbered by Zara for the Inditex group.

Bershka is present in 75 countries and 35 digital markets after having launched its platforms in the United States, Japan and South Korea this year.
