Paris brand Mugler, now helmed by designer David Koma, unveiled its Pre-Fall line in New York City.

Following on in the tone the Georgian designer established with his runway collection in September, this season's Mugler girl presented a sexy, tailored take on trans-seasonal dressing.

Of-the-moment whipcord and eyelet details ran all the way through the collection, from the deconstructed trench coats which came in leather and cashmere, to the sharply cut separates.

Koma stuck to a pared-back palette of solid tones, from creamy white to burgundy, green, blue and black. That said, some embellished sheer silks covered in fine abstract macro-check 3D sequins added some extra texture.

Cocktail dresses and evening wear came with a hint of asymmetry, including thigh-splits, which added to the heady atmosphere of sexy slashes into knits and gowns, and a hint of bondage with all the belted details and the split to the waist leather jumpsuits. Footwear arrived as bombshell-high heels, including the pointy-toe ankle boots and the minimalist peep-toe sandals.
