The latest edition of the Paris Fashion Week, held from 25th September to 3rd October, has featured prominently on the media, social and otherwise, as well as in the French capital at large. According to French media intelligence firm L’Argus de la presse, the fashion labels most cited on the media and web were Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent.

L’Argus de la presse ranked the 15 most cited fashion labels, after surveying data relating to the (francophone only) press, audiovisual media, social media and websites for the event's entire duration.

Nearly 93,700 features citing fashion labels were picked up by the survey, the majority of them on social media. Twitter was first, with 50.5% of the features, followed by Instagram (32%), websites in general (16%) and other social media (1.5%).

As for the most cited labels, the top three were Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent, ahead of Balmain, Chanel, Versace, Kenzo, Elie Saab, Christian Dior, Hermès, Isabel Marant, Valentino, Lanvin, Lemaire and Fendi.

The ranking confirms how major luxury labels retain a privileged position, leaving little media room to the Fashion Week calendar's new entries. Notably, not one among Jacquemus, which opened the week, Chloé, Maison Margiela, Carven, Lacoste and Givenchy were among the top 15 most-cited labels.
