British shoppers can now buy El Ganso in pounds

The womenswear and menswear label is plotting an e-commerce push for its UK market, the second largest foreign country to purchase goods at elganso.com after France.

To boost its online sales in the United Kingdom, the retailer is introducing prices in pounds and offering free delivery on orders of £60 pounds and higher. It is also implementing a new Click & Collect service.

The new updates come as the retailer aims to expand its international presence in the UK. Its internationalization strategy includes plans to reach 10 points of sale in the region by 2016.

Earlier in October, El Ganso announced the sale of a 49% stake to LVMH’s L Capital. The brand, born in Spain, now has 117 points of sale across 10 countries.

Its online sales have grown 66% year-on-year, and the company plans to continue leveraging this sales channel by introducing new sites in Italian and German, due to be launched in the upcoming months.
