Coperni moves into rental in deal with Hurr

More and more labels are linking up with specialists to launch rental collections and the latest is hot Parisian label Coperni, which has partnered with Hurr on the project.

Coperni x Hurr - Hurr Collective

The high-end ready-to-wear brand founded by Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant is known for its runway moments (think spray-on dress) and its roster of celebrity fans including Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid. That’s an appealing back story for a rental launch.

The brand’s deal with Hurr offers up a Coperni edit that brings renters both pieces from the current SS23 collection and some favourites from the archive, including a selection of the brand’s it-bag – the Coperni Swipe.

Hurr has a history of winning over big names, from the opening of its Selfridges pop-up back in 2020 (when it was the first rental pop-up that the department store had hosted) to links with Timberland, Mulberry, Cecilie Bahnsen and many more.

Rental is becoming one of the busiest sectors of the market as brands race to enter the segment. Only this year, brands as varied as Warehouse (through Hirestreet), Canada Goose (via Selfridges), and Derek Lam 10 Crosby (with CaaStle) have launched rental initiatives.
