With the arrival of Clare Waight Keller at the controls of the creative cockpit in May, Givenchy will be stealing the spotlight this season with the very first show from its new creative director, which will be dedicated to Spring/Summer 2018 womenswear - already highly anticipated as one of the major events of the next Paris Fashion Week in October.

The decision has meant putting the other collections on ice this season - neither the men's line nor the haute couture collection will show, the fashion house confirmed to FashionNetwork.com.

The men's collection, designed by the studio, will only be presented via showrooms to the buyers, between 27 June and 1 July, just after Paris Men's Fashion Week.

The next haute couture show from Givenchy, under Keller's direction, will take place in January 2018.

The British designer recently left her post at Chloé, the label she had helmed since 2011, in order to take up the role in creative direction at the LVMH label. She succeeded Riccardo Tisci, who left in February after 12 years at Givenchy.
