Canadian accessories brand Herschel Supply has unveiled a new collaboration with the world of team sports. The Vancouver-based brand, renowned for its backpacks, has joined forces with French top-flight football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), creating a capsule collection made up of three distinct lines: Offset, Club and Ligue 1. The collection was launched on July 1 and is available at PSG stores, online on the club's and Herschel Supply’s e-shops, and also via NTWRK, a news and shows video app on which customers can buy featured products.

This isn’t the first time that Herschel Supply teams up with top-notch sport institutions and teams. In 2016 and 2017, the Canadian brand bought the rights to exploit the image of Major League Baseball franchises commercially. This enabled Herschel Supply to introduce backpacks and accessories sporting the logos of teams like the San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees.

The line was a commercial success, and in 2018 Herschel Supply followed up by striking a partnership with the NBA, the US basketball league, launching backpacks in the livery of the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls and other NBA clubs.

Herschel Supply was founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack. In early 2017, it topped the 15-million mark for backpacks sold. The brand is still 100% owned by the Cormack brothers, despite frequent approaches by major apparel groups and various investors keen to acquire a stake in Herschel Supply.
