Next May, luxury giant LVMH will hold the third edition of the LVMH Innovation Award, recognising the start-up (with under 10 years in business and fewer than 100 employees) that offers the best solutions to the customer experience challenges faced by the French group and its labels (Louis Vuitton, Celine, Fendi, Givenchy, etc.).

The deadline for entering the candidates’ applications on the group’s website is Feb.15, 2019. After that date, a jury of industry professionals will pick the award’s 30 finalists. They will all have a showcase at the Viva Technology event, scheduled on May 16-18 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris. The winner will be revealed at the event, and will enjoy a one-year mentorship at LVMH.

In 2018, the jury awarded the prize to Oyst (one-click purchases with no need of extra information), and gave special mentions to VeChain (blockchain anti-counterfeiting solutions) and Kronos Care (customised post-purchase solutions). The award’s first edition was won by Heuritech, which worked on analysing the appeal of fashion brands and products using AI tools.
