For the second consecutive year, Longchamp is joining forces with the famous blogger, Tao Liang -- better known as Mr. Bags -- to celebrate Chinese New Year 2019. This latest collab gives rise to a collection of handbags honoring the Year of the Pig.

After celebrating the Year of the Earth Dog in 2018, Longchamp is paying homage to 2019's Year of the Pig, which starts in February. For the occasion, the brand has renewed its partnership with Mr. Bags -- a blogger with a passion for luxury handbags -- who has reinterpreted the French brand's iconic Le Pliage Cuir model.

In black lambskin or pastel pink métis leather, the iconic Longchamp bag features a distinctive white line forming the silhouette of a pig in a subtle and quirky way, with the animal's two pointed ears, curly tail and watchful eyes.

The collection also includes the Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir travel bag in black lambskin, a pouch with a zip pocket in the form of a snout -- available in two versions -- and a transparent PVC handbag with a pink coin purse also in the shape of a snout.

These limited-edition creations will be available from December 20 in China, before rolling out to selected stores worldwide.
