As the UK eases into the post-pandemic period, catwalk shows are back. So expect to see a packed schedule of runway shows at Moda from this Sunday when the four-day event opens its doors alongside Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham.

Organisers are promising an “inspiring trend-led” programme of “insightful and useful talks, alongside hundreds of new season’s collections and must-have looks” from womenswear, accessory, jewellery, and footwear designers and brands.

Catwalks shows were a major casualty of the pandemic and even with events that went ahead over the pas 22 months, runways were off the agenda.

But now that they’re back, shows will start every day at 11am and run three times a day. Visitors will see collections “brought to life in carefully curated fashion shows edited into inspiring scenes providing an essential overview of the season”.

The Moda stage will also host an intense schedule of talks covering topics including how to build relationships with customers to develop an active and engaged social media community; how identity can help a brand stand out from the crowd; doing the right things to build an online business fast; how to influence in the right way; and tips to help make content work harder.

Located in the venue’s Hall 2, and offering retailers “the most diverse fashion buying destination”, brands showing include Hukka, Jayley, Pretty You London, Henriette Steffensen Copenhagen, Lighthouse Clothing, Soyaconcept, Alice Collins, Gomaye, Lily & Me, Alpe, Camper, Shellys, One Hundred Stars, Sebago, CAT, Fly London, Nomads, Scream Pretty, Lido Pearls, Caprice, InventSports, Georgia Wang, Sea Gems, Leslie Donn, and many more.
