Moncler has moved to a new location in Copenhagen. The luxury outerwear label, present with a store in the Danish capital since 2011, has relocated to new premises at 36-38 Østergade, one of the city's most prestigious streets. The new store showcases the Moncler Genius, Moncler menswear, womenswear and accessories lines, as well as Moncler Grenoble and Moncler's childrenswear.

Architecture studio Gilles & Boissier, Moncler's long-standing interior designer of choice, devised a new concept for the 540-square-metre store on two floors, using Scandinavian-style materials.

The store’s menswear area is decorated with dark, staved walnut wood wall-panelling, grey Bardiglio and white Carrara marble, and furniture in dark metal and burnished brass. The area dedicated to womenswear and childrenswear instead features white wall-panelling and light-grey ornamented lintels on the ceiling. The room dedicated to the label's sportier collection, Moncler Grenoble, is characterised by generous windows and walls and floor in polished concrete.

The new store is decorated by original frescoes by French artist Cyprien Chabert, renowned for his technique blending fresco and sculpture, who created for Moncler “an embossed linear pattern that is repeated endlessly, encompassing both space and matter,” wrote the label in a press release.
