Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter continue to improve their personal shopping service for their highest-spending customers with the launch of an invitation-only, try-before-you-buy service called Style Trial.

Net-A-Porter

The exclusive service will allow the etailer’s top spending customers - known as Extremely Important People (EIPs) - order up to 30 pieces to try on at home before committing to make a purchase.

The items can be either selected by the customer or curated by the retailers’ personal shopping team, giving shoppers the opportunity to consider different styles and trends for a seven day period. Payment is then taken solely for the items the customer wishes to keep.

Further adding to the service’s exclusive format, customers living in London, New York, Hong Kong, select parts of New Jersey, Connecticut and the Hamptons will be able to have their orders delivered by a personal shopper for a private appointment. Net-A-Porter customers will be gifted a silk, monogrammed robe during the fitting, and the chance to try on a personalised selection of clothing, jewellery and watches.

“We are incredibly proud to offer a truly elevated personal shopping service to our EIPs. We are always looking to further enhance customer experience at Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter, and these new bespoke offerings are the next innovative step in better serving our customers within the comfort of their homes,” commented Alison Loehnis, president of the brands.

The new Style Trial service will be rolled out in select locations in Europe and the US from this month.
