The program functions as a stepping stone for the 30 designers chosen, who get the chance to grow internationally and showcase their collections in the heart of the fashion capital that is Paris. The designers get to present their labels and collections in the epicentre of the industry for up to three seasons for free.

The categories to compete in for designers from Not Just A Label’s international portfolio of over 21,000 talents worldwide are Ready-to-Wear, Accessory and Urban Wear. 10 designers will be chosen from each category to exhibit at the Who's Next and Premiere Classe trade shows in Paris. They will also get guidance and mentoring from top fashion industry professionals.

The first stage of the competition and the first trade show will show all 30 designers, which are then narrowed down to 15 for the second show, and to a final three for the final trade show. Winners will be announced by September 2017 and receive their third and final free booth at the Fame, Urban (both at Who's Next) or Premier Classe shows.

To partake in The Future of Fashion Program, designers must have a complete and updated profile on notjustalabel.com, which features their latest collection(s). They must not have shown at a Paris trade show before and need to have already produced two commercial collections. Applications are open now until May 6.

Not Just A Label also recently announced a new collaboration with Dubai Design District to support creative minds across the UAE and internationally.
