The Spanish fashion brand Nude Project will close 2022 with a turnover of more than 11 million euros, which represents a fourfold increase over the previous year's figure, as reported by the company in a statement.

The brand founded by Bruno Casanovas and Álex Benlloch stated that these positive results were driven by Nude Project's e-commerce, which continues to be its main sales channel, and by its commitment to omnichannel sales with the opening of its first physical shop in Madrid and the several stops of its 'Nude Tour'.

Casanovas, co-founder and co-CEO of Nude Project, is very pleased with the results. "Nude Project was born out of necessity, as neither Alex nor I could find a streetwear brand of reference, but now we are seeing that it was a shared feeling, practically generational, and we attribute much of Nude Project's growth to this shared need," he explained.

The other co-founder and co-CEO of the firm, Benlloch, highlighted the brand's commitment to omnichannel retail. "Having a first physical shop in one of the busiest streets of the Spanish capital has been a turning point, because although we were previously fully aware of the value that Nude Project manages to transmit, we now see it in a much more tangible way," he said.

Looking ahead to 2023, the fashion brand has set itself the goal of increasing its number of physical shops. Thus, the brand will open its first shop in Valencia at the beginning of January, which will be followed almost immediately by another one in Barcelona.

"Bringing the Nude Project experience to retail helps us to solidify the brand and strengthen our positioning. The company's goal is to create an exceptional physical retail experience that represents the brand's identity 100% and allows us to be in touch with our community," Benlloch said.

This year, Nude Project brought its garments to eight Spanish cities via its 'Nude Tour' pop-up stores. More than 20,000 people in cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza, Bilbao and Seville, among others, were able to discover the brand first-hand.

The clothing brand is thus ending 2022 breaking yet another record after closing the year with a total of 900,000 followers, 250 million visits and 35 million likes between its Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts.

Plans for further growth in 2023

Another of the company's major challenges for 2023 is to establish its international presence and boost its sales through its 'Nude Tour' in different European cities.

The first countries in which the company plans to land are Portugal and Italy, two countries with a culture very similar to Spain's, which is why the creators of Nude Project predict that "it may be much easier for a brand like ours, in which garments, art and events all become one, to fit in".

The company's roadmap also includes Germany, the country with the highest level of competition and the one with the largest number of international sales for the brand.
