London-based fashion brand Roksanda has hired Deloitte to test the appetite of outside investors wanting to take a majority stake in the business, as Eiesha Bharti Pasricha seeks an exit.

The deal could value the luxury brand, whose clients include the Duchess of Cambridge; Melania Trump and Lady Gaga, at about £20 million, according to The Times.

Indian businesswoman Eiesha Bharti Pasricha acquired a controlling stake in Roksanda in 2014 to support the brand’s expansion globally following a rebrand that saw the company drop the designer’s oft-misspelled surname, Ilincic.

Since Pasricha's investment, Roksanda has seen annual revenue jump from £3 million to £10 million. Her backing allowed Roksanda to open its first standalone boutique in London in 2014 and appoint a chief executive. However, the fashion investor is thought to be seeking an exit as she believes the brand needs a partner with greater understanding of the luxury industry.

Roksanda’s founder, Roksanda Ilincic, is in line for the British Designer of the Year award in the Womenswear category at the Fashion Awards. The ceremony, taking place on December 10 at Royal Albert Hall in London, will celebrate the leading names in the UK and international fashion scene. Roksanda was nominated alongside Clare Waight, Jonathan Anderson, Simone Rocha and Victoria Beckham.
